The database contains over 30 million cow records sourced from over 2,000 herds located in key dairy markets throughout the world, and it continues to grow. For these reasons, the ABS database is aptly named \u201cReal World Data\u00ae.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The ABS Research &amp; Development team uses proprietary\u00a0Real Word\u00a0Data for use in creating innovative genetic selection tools. The first tool, ABS\u00a0<a title=\"RWD Sire Fertility\" href=\"https:\/\/www-dev.absglobal.com\/au\/dairy\/real-world-data\/sire-fertility\/\" rel=\"noopener\">RWD Sire Fertility<\/a>\u00a0was launched in 2012 and provides ABS customers with an easy-to-use ranking of fertility for both conventional and sorted genetics for ABS sires.\u00a0<a title=\"TransitionRight\u2122 Genetics\" href=\"https:\/\/www-dev.absglobal.com\/services\/transitionright\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TransitionRight\u2122 Genetics<\/a>\u00a0was introduced in\u00a0August,\u00a02015 with a simple-to-understand economic ranking of ABS\u00a0sires\u00a0developed to help prevent multiple post-calving metabolic disorders that occur during the transition cow period through genetics.
